Rev. Ambrose Allan Nyangao,EBS has faithfully served as the Senior Pastor of

Parklands Baptist Church since 1992, following nearly a decade as Associate

Pastor. Under his visionary leadership, the church has grown into a community

of over 10,000 congregants — a living testimony to God’s grace and faithfulness.

Rev. Ambrose holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Biblical Languages from

Ouachita Baptist University (Arkansas, USA) and a Master’s in leadership studies

from International Leadership University. He advocates for lifelong learning,

often quoting: “Leaders read and readers lead.” He serves as Treasurer of the

Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK), Board Member of the Movement Day–Africa

Advisory Team, and Chair of the Kenya Chapter of the Africa Unit ed Pastors

Fellowship (AUPF).

Rev. Ambrose uses his voice to shape conversations on national transformation,

discipleship, and the public witness of the Church across the continent.

In recognition of his distinguished service to the nation, Rev. Ambrose was

conferred the Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear (EBS) by the President of

the Republic of Kenya on 12th December 2024.

Rev. Ambrose is renowned for his humility, wisdom, humour, insightful teaching

of God’s Word, and conveyance of God’s truth through his writing. His messages

are accessible through various physical and digital platforms.

He is married to Martha Khasandi, and together they are blessed with three

children: Caleb, Lisa, and Sifa.
